Dei Consoli Hotel 
Hotel dei Consoli is situated in Via Cola di Rienzo, near the stately Saint Peter's Square, in a small century-old building recently reconstructed in the Imperial style. The detailed cornices and columns have been created by the famed master plasterers of Naples noted for their work in the redecoration of the celebrated Reggia di Caserta. The hotel occupies three floors, which have been decorated and named accordingly--Piano dei Mappamondi, Piano dei Fiori and Piano delle Battaglie. The hotel terrace has a garden where breakfast is served. Here the guests can enjoy and relax in the vast arrangement of plants and flowers. Dei Consoli Hotel is a ten-minute walk from the famous Spanish Steps. The hotel is also less than a mile from Castel Angelo, Vatican Museum, St Peter, the underground, and other forms of public transportation.
